About Me
As a mostly unpublished author it's hard to write a brief autobiography for a personal website without sounding pretentious or delusional, so I'm not going to try. I'll just say that I'm British, I was born in the 1970s, I love writing fiction and I don't currently make a living from writing fiction.
There's more to tell, but the truth isn't half as interesting as the things that I make up.
Talking of which, I've completed one novel - Another Man's Poison - I've finished a second (it's currently at the edit/rewrite stage that every author hates), and I'm working on a third. I've got ideas for a fourth, but that's a long way off yet...
About This Website
This website isn't really about me; it's about my writing. I write a lot, but most of what I write just sits on a hard drive like gold in a bank vault (or like silt at the bottom of a pond, depending on your opinion of my writing ability) and never sees the light of day.
Any serious writer wants people to read what he or she writes, however, so that's why I set up this place. Here you'll find pieces that I've written - of varying length, from flash fiction all the way up to complete novel - available to read online or to download. Just go to the Downloads page and see what's there for you to read - I hope to add new pieces regularly.
